Group-IB, a leading creator of predictive cybersecurity technologies to investigate, prevent, and fight digital crime, has announced a strategic partnership with HUB201, a national and regional innovation hub for cybersecurity and artificial intelligence based in Serbia, to strengthen digital resilience and accelerate cybersecurity innovation across Serbia and the wider Southeast Europe and Western Balkans region.
The partnership brings together Group-IB’s global cybersecurity expertise, threat intelligence and cybercrime-fighting experience with HUB201’s regional ecosystem, educational platform and community network. Through HUB201’s three program pillars, 201: Academy, 201: Innovation and 201: Community, the two organizations will jointly deliver educational programs, executive roundtables, professional training and awareness initiatives to strengthen cyber resilience and regulatory readiness across the region. The collaboration is also designed to foster closer cooperation between the public sector, private sector, academia and the startup community, and to support the long-term development of cybersecurity talent in Southeast Europe.
A regional hub for cybersecurity innovation
HUB201 is a national and regional innovation hub for cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and digital transformation, and forms part of the broader Cyber District initiative launched by the Office for IT and eGovernment. HUB201 connects industry, the public sector, startups and academia to raise cyber resilience and accelerate the adoption of new technologies. Since launch, HUB201 has run its 201: Go! Hackathon, which attracted 52 team applications and 145 participants across 40 teams; delivered an eight-week HUB201 Bootcamp program for 20 startups; and launched the NIS2 Officer Training Program, developed with certification partner Austrian Standards. HUB201 has also established 16 strategic partnerships and delivered 13 events to date, including its TRENDOVI conference series on cybersecurity across critical infrastructure and key industry sectors.
Through the partnership, HUB201’s startups and corporate partners will gain direct access to Group-IB’s global Threat Intelligence and real-world insight into the evolving cyber threat landscape, delivered through expert-led training, workshops and executive briefings. This will give founders the opportunity to validate their solutions against real industry challenges at an early stage, while corporate members strengthen their cyber resilience and regulatory readiness. The collaboration reflects growing demand across Southeast Europe and the Western Balkans for closer ties between international cybersecurity expertise and local innovation ecosystems, as organizations increasingly look to build security into products, processes and business models from the outset.
“Cybersecurity increasingly depends on the ability to connect global threat intelligence with local context. Through our partnership with HUB201, we are bringing Group-IB’s expertise in threat intelligence and cybercrime investigation directly to founders, institutions and industry leaders across Serbia and the wider region, helping them build stronger defenses against the threats they face today, and anticipate the ones they will face tomorrow.”

Regional Director Eastern Europe, Group-IB
“Cybersecurity is no longer only a technical topic. It has become a question of trust, business continuity, regulation and digital resilience. At HUB201, our goal is to build the ecosystem around those challenges by connecting experts, companies, academia, institutions and founders. Through this partnership with Group-IB, we are bringing global cybersecurity expertise closer to startups and innovators in Serbia and the wider region, helping them better understand real-world threats and build solutions that can respond to the needs of the market.”

The partnership builds on HUB201’s existing programs, including its Cyber Alliance membership community and NIS2 Officer Training Program, and will support the expansion of joint educational initiatives, executive roundtables and industry challenge formats over the course of the first year, with further details to be announced as individual programs are confirmed.
