Group-IB, one of the leading providers of solutions dedicated to detecting and preventing cyberattacks, identifying online fraud, investigation of high-tech crimes and intellectual property protection, headquartered in Singapore, confirmed that a search had been carried out at its Moscow office on September 28.
Law enforcement officers left Group-IB’s office at night the same day. Group-IB’s communications team also said that the reason for the search was not yet clear, but noted that all the company’s offices around the world continued providing support to customers and partners as usual: “The decentralized infrastructure of Group-IB allows us to keep our customer’s data safe, maintain business operations and work without interruption across our offices in Russia and around the world”.
The company said Group-IB’s top management and lawyers were assessing the situation.
