Group-IB recognized as a Representative Vendor in the 2023 Gartner® Market Guide for Security Threat Intelligence Products and Services

Group-IB, a global cybersecurity leader, has been named a Representative Vendor in the Gartner 2023 Market Guide for Security Threat Intelligence Products and Services (Gartner subscription required). According to the report, “Security and risk management leaders struggle to know what threats should constitute real concerns for their organizations. They should use this research to select the right security threat intelligence products and services and to understand and respond more efficiently to the threat landscape.” Group-IB was recognized in the Gartner Market Guide for the seventh time.

As per the Gartner Market Guide for Security Threat Intelligence Products and Services, providers included in the research “represent a broad geographic range based on locations of headquarters and areas of focus,” and “provide stand-alone TI products and services, which means the client does not have to purchase an additional non-TI product or service to get access to TI offerings”.

In their Market Guide, Gartner analysts recommend that security and risk management leaders responsible for security operations should “focus on intelligence providers that use advanced curation techniques to provide highly actionable insights in order to reduce the burden of prolonged analysis across large, mixed datasets.”

Group-IB’s Threat Intelligence is at the core of all of the company’s products and services consolidated under the Unified Risk Platform – an ecosystem of solutions that understands each organization’s threat profile and tailors defenses against them in real-time from a single interface. To have the most comprehensive understanding of cyber risks, Group-IB collects the industry’s broadest range of intelligence, with 60 types of sources across 15 categories.  In 2022 alone, Group-IB Threat Intelligence detected over 260,000,000 compromised accounts, 65M+ stolen payment cards on sale in the dark web, more than 1,700 leaked databases, and analyzed over 54,000,000 messages from underground forums.

The raw data is converted into actionable intelligence and added to Group-IB’s Single Data Lake, which has the industry’s most complete and detailed insight into threat actors and their activity. Group-IB’s Threat Intelligence is enriched with real-time knowledge about threat actors’ infrastructure and techniques gained by working alongside law enforcement specialists around the world, through incident response operations in over 60 countries and active threat intelligence gathering. Last year, Group-IB’s analysts added more than 850 threat actor profiles to the Threat Intelligence Platform. Additionally, Group-IB Threat Intelligence offers a comprehensive suite of applied tools that were originally developed as internal instruments for cyber attribution, investigations, and malware analysis. Group-IB’s Threat Intelligence customers get early access to the company’s analytical reports before they are released publicly.

Group-IB Threat Intelligence is trusted by customers in over 40 countries. This includes 14 out of the world’s largest 100 banks.

“We are excited to be recognized in the latest Garner report, which, we believe, affirms our position as a trusted player in the industry. We believe that only tailored threat intelligence can be actionable, manageable, and provide real value for our customers. We’ll continue to provide our customers with maximum visibility so they can maximize the performance of every component of their security ecosystem.”
