Group-IB, a global cybersecurity leader headquartered in Singapore, has been awarded a Cybersecurity Service Provider License. The license issued by the Cybersecurity Services Regulation Office of Singapore (CSRO) enables Group-IB to provide Penetration Testing and Managed Security Operations Centre (SOC) Monitoring Services. According to the Cybersecurity Agency of Singapore, the licensing framework aims to better safeguard consumers’ interests in public and private sectors and improve the service providers’ standards and standing over time.
To obtain a license, Group-IB went through a rigorous 6-month evaluation process that involved demonstrating its high level of experience and technological capabilities in providing pentesting and managed Security Operations Centre (SOC) monitoring services. The licensing process also evaluated the company services’ compliance with Singapore’s Cybersecurity Act which limits the provision of such services to licensed entities.
“We are honored to receive a license from CSRO. With the growing number and sophistication of cyber threats facing the country, it’s crucial to have a trusted and reliable cybersecurity provider especially when it comes to sensitive pentesting and network monitoring and defense services. We will continue contributing to Singapore’s cyber resilience by pursuing our mission of fighting cybercrime.”

A penetration testing service is an ethical comprehensive assessment of the company’s external perimeter carried out to detect existing vulnerabilities that could potentially be exploited by cybercriminals. Group-IB’s experts, who hold OSCP, OSWP, ISO, GDPR, OSED, and other certificates, have been carrying out pentests in public and private companies worldwide for over 10 years. The company’s Managed Extended Detection and Response solution identifies threats to corporate perimeters in real-time and enables immediate response by correlating and analyzing data gathered by the company’s Threat Intelligence. A Cybersecurity Service Provider License allows Group-IB to provide cybersecurity services to clients in Singapore, including government agencies, critical infrastructure operators, and private companies of all sizes.
