Group-IB, a leading creator of cybersecurity technologies to investigate, prevent, and fight digital crime, announced today that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Mahidol University—one of Thailand’s leading academic institutions specializing in IT management—to establish a Cybersecurity Center of Excellence on campus, which will serve as the nation’s premier hub for world-class cyber defense education, research, and capacity-building, supporting both students and industry professionals in developing critical cybersecurity skills.

As part of the partnership, Mahidol University will integrate Group-IB’s advanced cybersecurity solutions into its curriculum, equipping undergraduates with hands-on experience using industry-leading technologies such as Group-IB Managed XDR for proactive threat detection and response, Business Email Protection to safeguard enterprise communications, Threat Intelligence for real-time threat detection and analysis, and Attack Surface Management to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities. Group-IB will also provide a collaborative training program, offering expert-led courses and learning materials to further strengthen Thailand’s cybersecurity workforce.

The official launch of the Cybersecurity Center of Excellence was marked by a special ceremony attended by Mr. Ekkaporn Rakkwamsuk, Vice Minister of Finance of the Ministry of Finance, as well as representatives from the National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA).

“The cyber threats landscape is evolving rapidly, and organizations need skilled professionals to defend against them.
