Ilia Rozhnov

Having joined Group-IB in 2015 as a lead Computer Emergency Response Team analyst, Ilia quickly proved himself as a valuable addition to Group-IB’s anti-phishing operations. In 2017, he was assigned to lead Group-IB’s newly created Brand Protection team established to help businesses to fight ever evolving scams abusing their brands. In his role, he hired and grew the team from 0 to 30 people, many of whom assumed the leadership roles within the DRP function later on.

Ilia also played a major role in developing Group-IB’s patented Brand Protection system, which formed the basis of the Digital Risk Protection platform, recognized by the leading industry researchers. He is a holder of multiple patents in the brand protection domain.

Ilia holds a master’s degree in particle physics and has completed a CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification. In his free time, he enjoys organizing sports events, photography, and music.
