Senior Product Designer
What makes the role special
Founded in 2003 and headquartered in Singapore, Group-IB is a leading creator of cybersecurity technologies to investigate, prevent, and fight digital crime. Combating cybercrime is in the company’s DNA, shaping its technological capabilities to defend businesses, citizens, and support law enforcement operations.
Group-IB’s Digital Crime Resistance Centers (DCRCs) are located in the Middle East, Europe, Central Asia, and Asia-Pacific to help critically analyze and promptly mitigate regional and country-specific threats. These mission-critical units help Group-IB strengthen its contribution to global cybercrime prevention and continually expand its threat-hunting capabilities.
ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will take design ownership of one or more core product areas, driving work from problem definition through to delivery. You will serve as a strategic partner to product management, engineering, and user research, ensuring that user insights and business objectives are translated into coherent, well-crafted interface solutions.
In addition to individual contribution, you will play an active part in elevating design quality across the team and contributing to shared standards and processes.
YOUR MISSION
- Own the design of complex product features end-to-end, from problem framing and user research to high-fidelity UI and interaction specifications.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and engineers throughout the product lifecycle, shaping scope and advocating for user needs.
- Contribute to and evolve the design system, building scalable components and establishing consistent patterns across the product.
- Run or commission usability studies, synthesize insights, and use qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions.
- Facilitate design reviews, critique sessions, and workshops, helping align stakeholders and drive decisions forward.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 4+ years of product design experience in digital products.
- Strong portfolio with shipped B2B or B2C interfaces.
- Proficiency in Figma, including components, auto-layout, and variables.
- Deep understanding of UX principles, accessibility, and interaction design.
- Experience working directly with engineers and Product Managers.
- Fluency in research methods and the ability to translate insights into design decisions.
WHAT SETS YOU APART
- Systems thinker — sees how pieces fit together, not just individual screens.
- Strong craft — delivers pixel-precise work with intentional design decisions.
- Clear communicator — articulates decisions clearly and influences without authority.
- Curious about users — talks to users regularly, not just when asked.
- Ownership mindset — drives work forward independently and flags blockers early.
- Multiplier — makes the team around them better through feedback and collaboration.
