ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Business Development Manager at Group-IB, you will be a key member of our META Sales Team, focused on driving strategic growth and expanding our footprint across Nigeria and Ghana.
Your will be generating high-value business opportunities, build trusted relationships with key stakeholders, and promote our advanced cybersecurity solutions across government, enterprise, and critical infrastructure sectors.
This role is ideal for a motivated, self-starting sales professional who is passionate about cybersecurity and eager to make a tangible impact in one of the world’s most dynamic markets.
YOUR MISSION:
- Drive business development across Nigeria and Ghana, focusing on new client acquisition and expansion of existing strategic accounts.
- Identify and engage senior decision-makers within financial services, telecom, government, energy, and large enterprise sectors.
- Educate customers on cybersecurity risks and solutions, translating complex challenges into clear business value propositions.
- Build and scale a strong regional channel partner network, including distributors, system integrators, and MSSPs.
- Execute structured outbound and inbound lead-generation activities, including cold outreach, partner-led initiatives, and industry events.
- Collaborate with marketing and regional teams to support demand-generation campaigns and opportunity qualification.
- Manage pipeline development, sales forecasting, and CRM hygiene across both markets.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, promoting Group-IB’s expertise through a consultative, solution-oriented sales approach.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:
- Proven track record of developing business and closing deals in Nigeria and/or Ghana, across enterprise and public-sector customers.
- Solid understanding of West African market dynamics, including regulatory environments and complex sales cycles.
- Strong experience in indirect and partner-led sales models, with the ability to build and scale distributor and SI ecosystems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at both technical and executive levels.
- At least 10 years of B2B sales experience in cybersecurity, IT solutions, or systems integration.
- Passion for cybersecurity, digital transformation, and emerging technologies.
- Fluency in English is required.
