ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Business Development Manager at Group-IB, you will be a key member of our META Sales Team, focused on driving strategic growth and expanding our footprint across Iraq. You will be generating high-value business opportunities, build trusted relationships with key stakeholders, and promote our advanced cybersecurity solutions across government, enterprise, and critical infrastructure sectors.

This role is ideal for a motivated, self-starting sales professional who is passionate about cybersecurity and eager to make a tangible impact in one of the world’s most dynamic markets.


YOUR MISSION:

  • Lead and develop business growth across Iraq by acquiring new customers and expanding relationships with existing accounts.
  • Build and manage relationships with key decision-makers across government, telecom, financial services, energy, and large commercial organizations.
  • Navigate public-sector procurement processes and engage with relevant stakeholders to identify cybersecurity needs and project opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a local partner and reseller ecosystem to support market entry, delivery, and long-term growth.
  • Proactively generate leads through targeted outreach, partner collaboration, industry events, and strategic networking.
  • Work closely with internal sales, marketing, and partner teams to align go-to-market strategies and ensure effective opportunity follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM reporting in line with regional targets.
  • Position Group-IB as a trusted cybersecurity advisor, delivering consultative engagements adapted to the local market and regulatory environment.


WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:

  • Demonstrated success in building and growing business within the Iraq market, across government and commercial segments.
  • Strong understanding of local market dynamics, public-sector procurement processes, and tender-based sales cycles.
  • Proven ability to establish and manage indirect sales channels, distributors, and local partners.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Minimum 8 years of B2B sales experience in cybersecurity, technology, or systems integration.
  • Strong interest in cybersecurity and emerging technologies, with a consultative and value-driven mindset.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic are required.
