Wai Leong is an Incident Response and Digital Forensics Analyst at Group-IB, specializing in Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR), threat hunting, and cyber threat intelligence (CTI). He works with organizations to investigate cyber threats, identify malicious activity, and respond effectively to security incidents.

Wai Leong has experience conducting digital forensic investigations and threat hunting across enterprise environments, leveraging EDR, XDR, and SIEM solutions to uncover hidden threats, investigate suspicious activity, and identify indicators of compromise. He also performs cyber threat intelligence analysis to extract actionable intelligence, identify threat actor techniques, and develop targeted hunting hypotheses.

His technical expertise spans incident response, digital forensics, threat hunting, endpoint detection and response (EDR), extended detection and response (XDR), security information and event management (SIEM), and cyber threat intelligence. He holds the GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware (GREM) and GIAC Experienced Forensics Analyst (GX-FA) certifications.
