Alexey Kashtanov is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with over 15 years of experience in information security and cybercrime investigation. One of the six pioneers who relocated to Singapore in 2019 to establish Group‑IB’s global headquarters, he has been instrumental in building and expanding the company’s Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR) capabilities across the Asia-Pacific region.

At Group‑IB, Alexey leads a team of DFIR specialists at the global Digital Crime Resistance Center in Singapore, driving advanced cyber investigations, incident response operations, and digital forensics initiatives. His work combines technical leadership with talent development, shaping the next generation of cybersecurity experts and establishing the Singapore office as a regional hub for combating sophisticated cyber threats. He has been instrumental in supporting high-profile investigations for global clients while ensuring efficient, strategic incident handling in the ever-evolving landscape of digital security.
