Group-IB and Cybersecurity Center of Uzbekistan forge strategic partnership to strengthen national cybersecurity

Group-IB, a leading creator of cybersecurity technologies to investigate, prevent, and fight digital crime, announced today that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the State unitary enterprise “Cybersecurity center” of the Republic of Uzbekistan, to formalize a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening national cybersecurity, and to protect its businesses and citizens from existing and emerging cyberthreats.

The comprehensive framework includes a variety of key initiatives, such as the effective exchange of cyber threat intelligence and incident reports, technical assistance for vulnerability assessments and digital forensics, and training to enhance cybersecurity awareness and incident response capabilities. It also establishes emergency protocols to ensure quick responses to cyber incidents.

In addition, the partnership between Group-IB and the Cybersecurity Center will promote greater awareness of cybersecurity best practices among both businesses and the general public. It will also provide access to Group-IB’s Digital Crime Resistance Center (DCRC) in Tashkent for prompt analysis and mitigation of local threats, enhance intelligence sharing, and facilitate joint operations against cybercrime in Uzbekistan.
