Group-IB’s High-Tech Crime Investigations team triumphs at Top Women in Security ASEAN Awards 2025

Group-IB, a leading creator of cybersecurity technologies to investigate, prevent, and fight digital crime, is proud to announce that Hai Ha Phan and Jessica Tedja, both Cyber Investigation Specialists at Group-IB’s High-Tech Crime Investigations team, have clinched the prestigious Top Women in Security ASEAN Region Award 2025 for Vietnam and Singapore respectively. In addition, Vesta Matveeva, Asia-Pacific Head of High-Tech Crime Investigations was recognized as one of the top 20 finalists in this year’s awards.

 

As the region’s premier cyber investigations unit, Group-IB’s High-Tech Crime Investigations team has supported law enforcement agencies in the Asia-Pacific in numerous operations in 2025. In February, the team provided critical information to the Royal Thai Police that led to the arrest of the the cybercriminal known as ALTDOS in Thailand, who was responsible for more than 90 instances of data leaks worldwide and resulted in over 12TB of personal data sold on the dark web, and targeted companies and businesses in the region. The team also supported INTERPOL’s “Operation Secure”, which led to the arrest of 32 suspects linked to information stealers (infostealers) in Vietnam, Sri Lanka, and dismantling of the infrastructure that claimed more than 216,000 potential victims in Asia.
