ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Business Development Manager at Group-IB, you will be a key member of our ANZ Sales Team, focused on driving strategic growth and expanding our footprint across Australia Capital Territory (ACT) and Federal Government sector. You will be generating high-value business opportunities, build trusted relationships with key stakeholders, and promote our advanced cybersecurity solutions across government, enterprise, and critical infrastructure sectors.

 

This role is ideal for a motivated, self-starting sales professional who is passionate about cybersecurity and eager to make a tangible impact in one of the world’s most dynamic markets.


TASKS TO SOLVE:

  • Lead and develop sales across the targeted region by acquiring new clients and expanding existing      relationships.
  • Previous experience in B2B client development within the ACT and Australian Federal Government clients.  
  • Identify and engage decision-makers across public sector organizations to understand their cybersecurity needs.
  • Develop and grow a strong IT channel partner network to support long-term success in the      region.
  • Execute outreach campaigns through personalized cold calls, emails, and networking to      generate qualified leads.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, marketing, and partner management) to ensure alignment on go-to-market strategies and lead nurturing.
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasting and maintain up-to-date records in the CRM.
  • Position Group-IB as a trusted cybersecurity advisor through a consultative sales approach and deep understanding of client challenges.

  • A proven track record of building business within the ACT and Australian Federal Government sector. 
  • Strong understanding of regional market dynamics, and government procurement cycles.
  • Deep knowledge of indirect sales models and channel ecosystem development within ANZ.  
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills—able to influence at both technical and executive levels.
  • At least 5 years of B2B sales experience in cybersecurity, technology, or systems integration.
  • Passion for cybersecurity and emerging technologies.
