Group-IB Unites Partners to Strengthen Turkey’s Cybersecurity Landscape

Group-IB, a leading creator of cybersecurity technologies to investigate, prevent, and fight digital crime, concluded its flagship partner event in Türkiye, at “the Sheraton Grand Istanbul Ataşehir”, held under the theme “Group-IB Cyber Defense Alliance: Türkiye Summit ”.
Hosted in Istanbul, the summit brought together industry partners, thought leaders, and cybersecurity experts, underscoring Group-IB’s commitment to building cross-sector collaboration and strengthening cyber resilience. The company showcased its advanced threat intelligence solutions, shared expertise in incident response and digital forensics, and promoted collaborative knowledge-sharing. With Türkiye’s growing prominence in the cybersecurity space, the event created a meaningful dialogue on combating digital threats and explored tailored approaches to enhance cybersecurity resilience in an AI-driven era.

The event comes at a critical moment as Türkiye contends with an increasingly complex cyber threat landscape. Group-IB’s Threat Intelligence platform identified 59 significant cyberattacks targeting Turkish organizations in the first nine months of 2025 — including distinct, confirmed, human-operated campaigns rather than automated scans or low-level intrusion attempts. These incidents primarily affected high-value sectors such as government, military, education, and media. This follows a year where Türkiye ranked among the top 10 jurisdictions globally for compromised hosts in 2024, with nearly 80,000 incidents providing cybercriminals direct gateways for devastating ransomware attacks. Against this backdrop, Group-IB’s partner event was dedicated to advancing resilience, collaboration, and innovation to safeguard Türkiye digital future.

“Group-IB continues to prioritize building local and regional partnerships that empower industries, governments, and communities to stand resilient against increasingly sophisticated cyber threats. In a landscape as dynamic as Türkiye’s, collaboration is transformative. The success of this event underscores our shared mission to fight against cybercrime, protect digital trust, and strengthen our brand as a global leader in threat intelligence. Together with our partners, we are shaping a safer digital ecosystem for enterprises and critical infrastructure across the region.”

Mohammad KH Flaifel

Business Development Lead (META) at Group-IB

“Group-IB’s deep understanding of emerging threats and its commitment to empowering local ecosystems create unparalleled opportunities for organizations in Türkiye to innovate and defend effectively. Our partnership represents a significant step in ensuring that businesses and institutions remain ahead of adversaries.”
